Nothing is as Nothing does
Permission, should you need it, to slow everything down
Today could be a day for ‘nothing’.
And that would be ok.
Was it A.A. Milne who wrote
“They say nothing is impossible,
but I do nothing every day”
Sometimes — more often than perhaps we all do — you should give yourself permission to down tools. And do nothing.
It’s fine.
It is very ‘of-the-moment’.
Pausing. Recharging.
Dialling it back.
You can — and should — while away the odd day or two. Get to the end of it and proudly declare:
I really didn’t do much at all today
Sometimes, just sometimes, you can be like a stone on the beach. Let the tide wash over you. Go nowhere. Do nothing. The tide still ebbs and flows. You don’t change, for better or worse. And you’ll be there again tomorrow.

If only doing nothing was encouraged as much as doing something!
They are both important ❤️ nothing and something❤️ make time for both
