Café Life. There's a name for my next business endeavour, a Café with a small library/book store, drink coffee and read, have brunch mayhaps, and have some delicious shakshuka.
Full bodied, yet smooth, is how I like my coffee...cut with less a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and (these days) skim milk. Fresh from the Gnali pot, the scent enticing me to stir from slumber and get on with the day, I perch at the kitchen counter and watch the sun rise behind gnarled Garry Oak branches. A great start to the day.
Why thanks for the unexpected acknowledgement. I have yet to figure out the various features of SS and wasn't sure whether I was responding to your prompt or just making an observation...but yes, some rituals are worth appreciating. THanks for your writing!
I try to respond to everything people take the time to share ... I was secretly hoping you'd wrapped up your coffee pleasures in 50 or 100 words, hence the counting! Delighted that you peeked in on my storytelling. Very encouraging for an aspirant scribbler of words!
Wonderful games with words Barrie, a double shot with my single large and creamy coffee… (un café long façon grand-mère) havé a gréât Sunday!
Love a bit of wordplay ... and the coffee ... always the coffee, Susie. Happy Sunday

We'll be there! Lingering over brunch!
Awesome stories and a perfect name for the segment I love it! In Czech Republic we often say just presso.
Aw, thanks so much for the encouragement!

Love the idea of a Double Espresso feature!
Thank you, Debs. I started work on a second one today.
